Nosh is your AI-powered robo-chef that cooks fresh, personalized, and delightful meals automatically. Nosh is designed to make your life stress-free & cooking hands free. So you don’t have to depend on anyone else and you can enjoy your time doing what you love: spending time with your kids, relaxing, or working from home — all while Nosh is cooking.
Each of us have a different taste preference. Infact, what I eat at my home is very different from what my neighbour eats. That’s exactly why we have designed Nosh as a completely programable product so that you can adjust taste according to your preference. You can personalize food in 5 ways:
I. Adjusting Dietary Preference: You can adjust salt and spice levels using these simple sliders. Each level increases or decreases spiciness i.e. Chilli Powder and Garam Masala or saltiness by 15%. Also, one of our most used features here is the low oil mode
II. Edit Recipe: You can edit the existing recipe and save it. For e.g. you like onions golden brown instead of translucent or you want to remove or add few ingredients from the recipe and adjust the cooking time. All such changes can be made and recipe can be stored & so the next time when you’re cooking - nosh already knows your preferences.
III. Create your own recipe: although we have tried to cover a wide spectrum of dishes from what you can eat in your home or even outside - still if you want to create your own recipe or want to have the same taste as your mothers food - you can program recipes. Here you can add your own family dishes passed on from generations and save those. Infact, gradually you will be able to publish these recipes on Nosh Recipe Marketplace where users from around the world can cook and experience it
IV. Cook More Option:
i. After the dish is cooked, you will see this screen (Show the screen). Now let’s say you are cooking a gravy dish or a curry and you prefer thicker gravy you can do add more time or if you want it runny you can add water and cook more. For dry veggies such as Bhindi or for appetizers such as Butter Garlic Chicken Bites or Paneer Pepper Dry, you can use cook more to crisp up your dish
ii. This option can also be used to re-heat. For e.g. you went to Gym or for a walk and command Nosh. But you got a bit late - by the time you reached home your food got cold, so you can re-heat it
V. Manual mode: Here you can use Nosh as an assistant. On weekends or special occasions, you might want to experiment or simply play around with nosh. With Manual Mode, Nosh becomes your assistant — doing the constant stirring, heating, adding oil or spices exactly as per your instructions step by step.

Currently, Nosh doesn't have in-built chopping functionality. But we've streamlined the preparation process for you based on the customer feedback on Nosh since 2021 first through trials and then from deliveries. Over the years, we have worked on making preparation hassle-free for our users in 4 ways:
I. Recipes have been designed in such a way that it takes less than 10 mins to prep. For e.g. washed rice can be used directly for Biryani instead of boiled rice and even for pastas which is a 2 step process - first boiling & then cooking out the sauce – we have designed the recipe to directly add raw pasta and Nosh cooks the sauce from scratch followed by pasta boiling
II. Recipes are chopper friendly. Nosh users used simple electric choppers for ingredients such as onions, tomatoes etc and directly load it into Nosh.
III. Ingredients such as onion and tomatoes are mentioned in units, and therefore users do not need to spend time in exact measurements. Nosh takes care of variation in quantity through Computer Vision/AI
IV. With the single ingredient tray, we have separated the cooking and prep journey. Users you can prepare multiple trays in 1 go, cover it with an air tight lid, and store. Whenever they you want to eat, they you can just take a tray, remove the lid and command Nosh to cook. (Showing multiple trays stacked in the refrigerator)
Nosh uses AI to perform cooking functions like identifying ingredient doneness and adding the next ingredient accordingly.
Here is how AI is used in Nosh:
I. Camera and AI is used to cook ingredients such onion and remove variability in the ingredients because water content varies even for the same ingredient depending on the age & location
II. How we cook at our homes that we pour in onions and keep sautéing it until it turns translucent or golden brown. That function which our eyes do Nosh does it using AI or computer vision. It does the job of the human eye & removes the variability
III. We use AI to cook wide range of ingredients such as Onions, tomatoes, prawns etc. Also, rice is cooked using AI since water absorption varies for the same brand with time
IV. Another interesting use case of AI is boiling milk because many a times at our homes we get distracted and milk spills over. With Nosh, no spillover of milk will happen, as the ai camera controls the induction heating levels as well
While cooking all the fumes go through the built in chimney which comes with a removable filter that traps all the oil particles. The exhaust direction is flexible, and you can direct it as per your kitchen construction. Also, Nosh is compatible with duct attachment for ease of installation in a cabinet
No! In addition to the 500+ free recipes, early Nosh users enjoy 2 years of exclusive access to unlimited recipes in our recipebase. After this period, there will be a small monthly fee (approximately ₹250) for accessing the recipebase. This fee allows us to incentivize recipe creators and celebrity chefs to continuously add new recipes, offering you even more options.
Oils with smoking points higher than 230 degrees Celsius are suitable, including Olive Oil, Avocado Oil, Sesame/Gingelly Oil, Rice Bran, Sunflower Oil, Groundnut Oil and Soyabean Oil. Mustard oil leads to colouration which affects the AI cooking and as a result may affect the taste. Also, you can use Ghee and Coconut oil through the Ghee mode.
Yes, you can adjust the consistency of the dish. After the dish is cooked, you will see a Cook More Option. If you are cooking a gravy dish or a curry and you prefer thicker gravy, you can do add more time or if you prefer it more runny, you can add water and cook more. For dry veggies such as Bhindi or for appetizers such as Butter Garlic Chicken Bites or Paneer Pepper Dry, you can use cook more to crisp up your dish.
This option can also be used to re-heat. For e.g. you went to Gym or for a walk and command Nosh. But you got a bit late in reaching home, so you can re-heat your dish.

If you’re someone who usually has sabzi, dal and roti or rice for lunch or dinner — like most Indian households — you might be wondering: “Where does Nosh fit in?” How to fit in - nosh in my life - Let me break it down.
Nosh can cook dal-based recipes and rice dishes, but what we've learned from our users is interesting: Most families cook dal and rice in a pressure cooker because it doesn’t require constant monitoring, skill or effort and gets done in less then 10 mins. Whereas sabzis/curries are the ones that are the taste makers, affect our health, and require time, effort and skill. That’s why these users use Nosh to cook the main dish.
